Check these out an see just how easy it is to up-date your old wiring to give new life to that old lighting system.

Most older cars suffer from poor lighting to start with and the aging wiring only makes it worst. These simple changes will change your lighting to better than new. The images below show you just how easy it is to make that old vehicle safer in just a few hours. And best of all even the average mechanic can make the changes in his own back yard. Take your time using these images and pick up the parts needed at your local auto parts store. After making the changes, this New Technology will make you feel safer every time you hit the road at night..

If you check with some of the auto part stores, you may be able to find a wire update kit. I haven't seen one yet. But, you will need two (2) relays, one for the low beam and one for the high beam lights. Also, wire terminals, approximately 25 feet of #12 wire (check your car to see what size is in the car presently. The wires to the headlights should be about #12 with this change. The wiring from the light switch is likely #14 on many older cars. You will likely need approximately 10-15 feet of #14 wire, which will activate the relays. The larger wire (#12) will provide more power to the headlights. You will need a 30 amp fuse block to supply the power to the relays. The power should come from a power block which in most cases is located on the firewall. Or from the horn relay on some vehicles.

Take your time using these images and you will be ready to roll in no time. Happy Lighted cruising!
